Release Notes

  • Release Notes (3.3.x) for all platforms:
    • New: Added the ability to set the "OPCODEDIR" environment variable (Settings window);
    • New: Changed the "Format Code" menu shortcuts (Ctrl-K or Cmd-K format a line or a selection of the code, Ctrl-Shift-K or Cmd-Shift-K format all the code, Ctrl-Alt-K or Cmd-Alt-K show the format code window);
    • New: Go to reference, Go to definition and Right mouse click now store the caret position (for Navigate forward/backward or Go forward/Go back);
    • New: Added the "CSound Flags Help" menu (Help menu);
    • New: Added a link to the CSound Manual at Flossmanuals.net (Help menu);
    • New: When using the "batch process" in the Analysis window, WinXound preserves the compiler output for each analysed file;
    • Fix: Fixed a bug when setting other colors for the syntax highlight (the background colors don't change properly);
    • Fix: Fixed a bug when setting the "numbers" color (numbers starting with 0 don't change the color properly);
    • Fix: Undo/Redo buttons (incorrect state and behaviour after a line endings conversion);
    • Fix: Analysis window - Batch process (incorrect state and behaviour of the 'Stop' and 'Stop batch process' buttons);

  • Windows Release Notes (3.3.4):
    • (3.3.4) New: Analysis tool - added the ability to set the .pvx extension for Pvanal tool and the .sdif extension for Hetro tool;
    • (3.3.4) Fix: Analysis tool - compiler doesn't work properly;
    • (3.3.4) Fix: Pvanal tool - changed the default output file extension (from .pva to .pv);

    • (3.3.4) New: Analysis tool - added the ability to set the .pvx extension for Pvanal tool and the .sdif extension for Hetro tool;
    • (3.3.4) Fix: Pvanal tool - changed the default output file extension (from .pva to .pv);
    • New: Added a configurable toolbar to the document window;
    • New: Changed the shortcut for the text zooming (from "Cmd-Mouse wheel" to "Ctrl-Cmd-Mouse wheel");
    • Fix: Fixed a bug related to the text zoom when using the Apple Magic Mouse;
    • Fix: CSound compiler options (when arguments are separated by two or more 'space' chars inside the options field WinXound raises a compiler error);

  • Linux Release Notes (3.3.2):
    • New: Added the ability to attach/detach the compiler output/tools window;
    • Fix: Drag and drop a file into the texteditor area causes WinXound (32bit) to crash;
