Project DescriptionWinXound is a free and open-source Front-End Editor for CSound 5 and CSoundAV written by Stefano Bonetti. It can edit and compile CSD, ORC and SCO documents.
It runs on Microsoft Windows OS.
WinXound.Net is optimized to work with the new CSound 5 compiler versions.
WinXound Features:
- Edit Csound files (csd, orc,sco), run CSound and CSoundAV, start analysis, launch utilities, wave editors and manuals from the same program;
- Real time Syntax Highlight (Opcodes, Macros, Comments, ...) with possibilities to set personal colors;
- Real time Opcode Help: write opcodes and see on-screen help or press F1 to view the integrated csound html manual;
- Convert orc/sco to csd or csd to orc/sco;
- Split code into two windows horizontally or vertically;
- Line numbers;
- Set bookmarks or store your preferred code;
- Possibility to set your preferred settings for syntax highlight, text, background text, tab stop size, font size, fontname, ...;

System requirements:
Installation:
- Download and install the Microsoft Framework .Net 2.0 (only for Windows Xp);
- Download and install the latest version of CSound 5 (http://sourceforge.net/projects/csound);
- Download the WinXound zipped file, decompress it where you want and double-click on "WinXound_Net" executable;
